Stap 01 / 07

Choose your edge
Is the mat lying loose on the floor? Then you choose: with a vinyl edge for a neat finish that protects the edges, or without. Is the mat going in a recess? Then always choose without vinyl edge, otherwise it won't fit.
Measure at three points
Measure the width and the length each at three places, in centimeters. Note the largest measurement of both: that's the one you need.
Always base your measurements on the largest length and width; walls and recesses are rarely completely straight. Round up (without decimals). When cutting, we apply a margin of ±1 cm. Is the mat going into a recess? Then we calculate an extra 3 cm on both sides. You can easily cut it to size with a utility knife for a perfect fit.
Walls and recesses are rarely completely straight. So always base your measurements on the largest width and length and round up, without decimals. So 83.4 cm becomes 84 cm.
Choose your cutting margin
Order custom-made
Enter your width and length in the calculator, choose where the mat will be placed and add it to your cart. Need special requests or larger sizes? Email support@studiotapiz.nl and we'll gladly help you out.
Cut it to fit
Ordered with a cutting margin? Place the mat in the recess and cut away the last centimeters with a sharp utility knife. Our mats are cut-resistant, so it's done in no time.
