How do I order a custom entrance mat?

Choose your favorite design, measure your entrance carefully (see measuring instructions ), fill in the dimensions in the calculator and complete your order. Within 2-3 weeks you will have your unique design entrance mat in your home!

Can I receive a sample?

Yes, you can order a free sample box with up to 3 samples via our website. This way you can see the quality and design in real life, before you order your custom mat. You only have to pay the shipping costs.

Please note: samples are hand cut and may fray, be crooked or vary in size. Our entrance mats are machine cut and have a sleek finish.

Can I provide special sizes or requests?

Sure! For special requests or larger sizes you can contact us via support@studiotapiz.com or via WhatsApp on +31 70 2201 02 72.

What is the delivery time?

Because all mats are completely custom made, the delivery time is 2 to 3 weeks.

Measuring

How do I measure my entrance correctly?

  • Measure the width (horizontally) and length (vertical) of your entrance at various points
  • Always take the largest measurement you need, as walls and recesses are rarely perfectly straight
  • Round numbers up without decimals
  • Please note that we keep a margin of 1 cm when printing and cutting

Do I need to take a margin into account?

Yes, we keep a margin of 1 cm when producing. Therefore take the largest measurement and round up.

What if my mat doesn't fit perfectly?

Small adjustments can easily be made yourself with a Stanley knife. Our mats are designed to be cut-resistant for easy adjustments at home.

Do I need an underlay?

For raising recesses we offer special underlays. Please contact us via support@studiotapiz.com or via WhatsApp on +31 70 2201 02 72.

Shipping and Returns

What are the shipping costs?

We offer free shipping on all orders, except samples.

How are the mats shipped?

All mats are shipped with DPD. As soon as your order is on its way, you will receive a track & trace code by email.

Can I return my mat?

Because all mats are custom made to your specifications, we do not accept returns. Always check the dimensions carefully before ordering.

What if I ordered the wrong size?

Always check your measurements carefully before ordering. Because our products are custom-made, we unfortunately cannot accept returns for incorrectly specified measurements. If you believe there is a production error, please contact us at support@studiotapiz.nl .

Care

How do I maintain my entrance mat?

For daily maintenance, you can vacuum the mat to remove loose dirt. For more intensive cleaning, you can wipe the mat with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using aggressive cleaning agents, as these can damage the design.

Our mats are machine washable, but hand cleaning is recommended.

Always ensure that the mat is placed on a dry surface .

Are the mats washable?

Yes, our mats can be machine washed at 30 degrees. However, we recommend hand washing to maintain the colour intensity of the design for as long as possible.

How do I remove stubborn stains?

For stubborn stains, we recommend using a mild detergent and dabbing gently with a slightly damp cloth. Never rub too hard to avoid damaging the design.

How long does a Studio Tapiz entrance mat last?

With normal use and proper maintenance, your Studio Tapiz entrance mat will remain beautiful for years. The durable materials are designed to withstand daily use.
